Define the equipment you need
Cartridge and component seals
Cartridge designs combine elements into an assembly; component seals require individual installation dimensions to be checked. Include a drawing of the seal chamber.
Mixer and agitator seals
Alongside fluid and temperature, describe rotational speed, shaft orientation and operating cycle. A pump seal design is not automatically suitable for a mixer.
TECHNICAL SELECTION
Dimensions, seal faces and elastomers
For identification, provide shaft diameter, working length, seat dimensions and any markings on the old seal. Face and elastomer selection should account for fluid, temperature, pressure and rotational speed. Specify materials such as silicon carbide (SiC), tungsten carbide (TC), EPDM or FKM where required by your specification. A visual match alone does not establish suitability without process data.
If the seal leaks or wears prematurely, describe the failure conditions too. Operation or installation may be involved, so changing the material alone may not resolve the issue. Compatibility is reviewed for the particular configuration.

Can I enquire about a replacement for an existing brand?
Send the brand, model and part reference. Brand references identify the equipment; they do not by themselves imply authorised representation or confirmed compatibility.
Which seal material is best?
There is no universal choice. Face materials and elastomers depend on the fluid, temperature, pressure and operating cycle.
