Define function and acceptance criteria in the drawing
A 3D model communicates geometry but may not include every tolerance, surface roughness, thread or treatment requirement. Add a revision-controlled 2D drawing and mark critical dimensions. If material or treatment is undecided, describe the application and loads. Inspection reports or material documentation must be agreed before ordering.
Attach a PDF drawing to the form. Send STEP, STP, DWG or DXF by email. Manufacturing scope, documentation and timing must be confirmed in the quotation.

Is a 3D model sufficient for a quotation?
It often helps with the initial review, but add a 2D drawing for tolerances, surface roughness and other requirements not recorded in the model.
Is 5-axis machining always required?
No. The appropriate process depends on geometry, tolerances and quantity. It is checked during the manufacturability review.
Can I send a physical component for review?
Mention the sample in your enquiry. Sample acceptance and the scope of review should be agreed before shipment.
